Memo to Bosmo: Does anyone care about the CITY of Kenosha?

The new Wal-Mart Supercenter is being built in Somers. The new Target went up in Pleasant Prairie. There isn't a new car dealer east of Cooper Road/French Drive. The old Target store at Southport Plaza is vacant. So is the former Jewel/Sentry store there. And the old Kohl's at Pershing Plaza has been empty for years. Same for the old Sentry store on 22nd Avenue south of the Piggly Wiggly.

Businesses moving out. Empty buildings. Not a good sign for a city -- any city. So what is the city doing about it?

From what we can tell, not much.
